Vintage ring dating from between 1900s to 1980s.
Lovely signed vintage demi parure. This Sarah Coventry Etruscan style necklace and ring set is in mint (possibly unworn) condition. The set is in a silver tone metal with raised shiny hemispheres set in a darker silvertone background which provides a more aged feeling. The necklace is linked to a silver tone metal chain which has a hook fastener which allows it to be worn at various lengths. The other end of the chain has a signed SARAH COV medallion. The ring features the same design as the necklace medallion and is fully adjustable so will fit all sized fingers. The ring is signed SARAH GB or with a Copyright symbol. It dates from the 1960s. The whole set weighs 26 grams. The necklace chain measures measures 47 cm so the pendant sits around the neckline. The medallion measures 4 x 2.5 cm. The ring measures 3 x 2 cm. Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag. Despite the ‘designer’ name Sarah Coventry vintage costume jewellery is not made by one designer. Sarah Coventry was the name of a company based in the US (1949 – 1980s) who had emigrated from Coventry in England, UK. They employed different designers to produce their jewellery. They adopted a method similar to Avon in that they used house parties to sell their ranges “for the woman who dares to be different.” Some pieces are made in Canada or the UK.
This vintage cameo parure is on outstanding condition. The amber coloured glass in this Whiting and Davis cameo pendant, earrings, ring and brooch set is just beautiful and it is rare to get a full matching set in this condition. The gold tone metal surrounds are all in excellent condition. The cameos are created using molded glass with the lovely victorian style head of a woman in relief on the top of each piece - with a smooth back where the image shows through. Because the glass has no back it allows the light to really penetrate the pieces and the depth of glow is stunning. Each glass cameo is surrounded by a simple rope style surround. I hope the photos have captured how beautiful this set is. It dates from the 1950s or 60s. The parure consists of the following:- a long heavy interlinked chain (76 cm) and a large pendant which falls at the breastbone measures 6 x 4.5 cm and weighs 15g
- a pair of clip earrings measuring 3 x 2.3 cm and each earring weighs 7g
- a ring uk size N (US size between 6 and 7) (U52), measuring 3.2 x 2.3 cm weighing 11g
- a brooch measuring 5.4 x 4.2 cm and weighing 29g
- Gorgeous vintage ring. Although not marked this West German pearl ring is a very common design for rings made in West Germany with the brass twisted rope design. The faux pearl is fairly chunky which stands out beautifully on the hand. This twisted rope design is very popular due to the rise of Game and thrones and Reign TV shows. If you are planning a renaissance wedding then this may just be the ring for you. The ring is fully adjustable so will fit any size finger. The ring is in excellent vintage condition - with a couple of tiny marks to the pearl but no marks on the metal at all - it is a bit less dull that other twisted rings I have seen. The ring weighs 5 grams and has a full diameter of 1.8 cm. The pearl is 1.4 cm in diameter so only a tiny open metal work surrounds it. Presented in a satin drawstring bag.

The stone is fairly chunky and although it looks like a banded agate I think it is more likely to be art glass as other rings in this style were made in a vast array of beautiful (probably Czech) glass. - Amazing chunky vintage ring. This purple crystal cocktail ring features a huge claw set cut crystal in the most incredible deep purple colour. The ring is made of stainless steel and is fully adjustable. This is just beautiful. The metal hardly shows from the top but from the side it looks like a crown. The ring stands quite high and is very chunky but still elegant. It weighs 7 grams. Diameter of the stone measures approx 1.8 cm. - Fabulous vintage ring This cha cha pink cluster cocktail ring certainly makes a statement with 17 8mm glittering pale pink glass crystal stones. The ring metal is silver coloured and is fully adjustable so will fit all sizes. This ring is a knockout! The ring weighs 12grams and thew crystal cluster measures 4 cm x 3 cm. - Stunning vintage ring. This rock crystal art deco cocktail ring is really eye catching. The ring features a large naveltte or marquise shaped barrel cut rock crystal framed on each side by a row of 9 pave set crystal rhinestones. The silver coloured metal setting features two heart cut outs at either side of the ring. The ring is in lovely condition but shows some signs of wear at the bottom of the ring. - Beautiful vintage ring. The sterling silver green mother of pearl ring is in beautiful condition and extremely well made. The ring is stamped 925 on the inside of the ring. It has a rectangular shaped backless bezel and the mother of pearl is really pale green and catches the light beautifully. The ring weighs 8 grams.
