- Outstanding vintage art deco parure. This signed Czech delicate foiled glass necklace and earrings parure features gorgeous green coloured foil glass beads and cabochon, small clear green beads, all linked with brass chain links. The foil beads really shine from within and have a lovey vintage feel. The quality of the glass really makes this necklace the treasure that it is. The necklace has a central cabochon with three drops. The earrings have screw fittings with a clear rhinestone and a chain drop with a foiled capped glass bead. The necklace has a brass spring ring clasp which is still in good condition and the ring is stamped Czechoslovakia. This is in good vintage condition but many of the parts are extremely delicate and thin. This is not an everyday jewellery set but a very special occasion parure. It measures 40 cm and sits very nicely around the neckline - the pendant hang is 5cm at it's longest. The earrings measure 3.5 cm long. Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.

- This vintage rare Selro jewellery is in very good condition. This unsigned SELRO Asian princess bolo necklace and earrings demi-parure is a lovely example of genuine SELRO jewellery. Most Selini or Selro jewellery pieces were not signed. The gold coloured bolo style necklace has a herringbone style chain which passes through the back of the medallion making it adjustable in length. At the end of each chain is a plastic Thai princess head each with painted red lips, black eyes and eyebrows and gold painted hair. One of these heads has a bit of wear and has lost some paint which was very common with these pieces which date from the 1950s. The medallion is a Thai princess head set on a rounded square gold colour metal plaque. This head has a gold metal hat above the crown. Some of the eyebrow pain has worn off. Each ear has a separate gold hoop earring and at the bottom of the head is a white faux pearl. The chain is in excellent condition and there is a very strong hinged clasp. The matching earrings each feature the same head as the medallion and the paint is in really good condition. The hoops in the head's ears are much bigger on the earrings and add a real element of fun. They are clip-on and the backs are also in very good condition. This set is GENUINE SELRO. PLEASE NOTE - There are a lot of bogus claims about Selro jewellery so it is important to be aware of the ways to properly identify them. Kathie Davies has done some incredible research and has developed a website to help people correctly identify Selro jewellery and, more importantly, to identify fakes. We recently received some pieces of jewellery which were describes as SELRO but are actually not made by that company. They are still lovely items of jewellery but at Kikulu we would not sell them with the wrong description as we care very much about our reputation. We will be listing those shortly as NOT SELRO. This is an amazing demi parure from the 1950s and should be enjoyed by SELRO collectors or simply because of the fun and the quality of the construction! The necklace weighs 58 grams. The necklace measures 44 cm but is adjustable. The earrings weigh 10 grams each and measure 2.5 cm x 3.5 cm. Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag. About SELRO and SELINI jewellery Although often used together the jewellery is rarely from both SELRO (which was a company started in the US in the 1940s by Paul Selenger) and SELINI which was another company run by Selenger. Selenger was responsible for the design of Selenger/Selini pieces. Famous for the 'Many faces' of Selro - the jewellery featured Asian faces and this is what the company is most famous for. Much of Selro/Selini jewelry is unsigned and was originally hang-tagged. There are some clues, however, to identifying unmarked Selro/Selini jewelry. Much of what is sold as SELRO/SELINI is not actually produced by them. Signed pieces are very rare.

The earrings are a smaller version of the flower without the stem. The overall effect is very light and airy despite the large size. They are also fairly light due to the open metal work style. There is a pink hue to the AB stones but this is difficult to capture in the photographs. Each item is signed SARAHCOV with a Copyright symbol. It dates from 1968. The whole set weighs 33 grams. The brooch measures 9 cm x 6cm at its widest point. The earrings measure 3 cm across. Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag. - This vintage rare Selro Selini jewellery is in outstanding condition. This signed SELINI cream Noh mask necklace and earrings set is very rare. Both the necklace and clip on earrings are signed - which is unusual because not many of the Selini or Selro pieces were signed. The necklace has two signatures - the clasp itself is signed SELINI and the back of the head on the clasp is signed SELRO. The earrings are signed SELINI. The Noh mask Okina (Hakushikijyo) originated in Japan and is of a male with a beard expressing wisdom. The Okina mask takes its origin from the traditional Genryu style of Noh play called "Dance of Monkeys". Some people mistakenly call it a demon face or demon mask. He has a lovely smile though so could not be mistaken for a demon;) The necklace features two strands of creamy 10mm lucite beads. One of the strands is slightly shorter. They come together is the fantastic Noh face clasp - which is intended to be shown at the side when worn. It is just one of the most beautiful pieces of plastic jewellery I have ever come across and considering it dates form the 1950s is in excellent vintage condition with only slight tarnish on the metal. The beads and string are in amazing clean and undamaged condition. The necklace is accompanied by a gorgeous set of clip on earrings featuring the cheeky Noh mask face in the same cream colour. Also in excellent vintage condition with very slight tarnish to the metal. This is an amazing and rare set. The necklace weighs 74 grams and the earrings each weigh 8 grams. The shortest necklace measures 60 cm and the earrings measure 1.8 cm wide and 2.4 com long. Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag. The amber coloured glass in this Whiting and Davis cameo pendant, earrings, ring and brooch set is just beautiful and it is rare to get a full matching set in this condition. The gold tone metal surrounds are all in excellent condition. The cameos are created using molded glass with the lovely victorian style head of a woman in relief on the top of each piece - with a smooth back where the image shows through. Because the glass has no back it allows the light to really penetrate the pieces and the depth of glow is stunning. Each glass cameo is surrounded by a simple rope style surround.
