Beautiful vintage necklace from the 1930s. This art deco Czech pastel glass necklace features a very thin silver tone chain and chrome links leading down to a bib of cut glass pentagon (5 sided) beads in pink and baby blue. Smaller bi cone crystals surround these in amber glass and pale green. The beads are symmetrical symmetrical. There is a secure barrel screw clasp which has lost some of it’s silver plating.
The overall effect is very light and delicate with the pastel shaded beads and link elements. The necklace is in very good vintage condition. The glass in in excellent condition.
Although not signed I’m pretty sure this is a Czech necklace from the Gablonz glass and metal craftspeople. It is such lovely work.
The necklace weighs only 6 grams. It measures 44 cm and sits very nicely around the neckline. Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.
