Rare vintage brooch from the fifties. This white Yorkshire rose brooch is in very good condition. It features glass elements coated in a pearly white coating – similar to faux pearls. The brooch is a classic Yorkshire white heraldic rose – most famously linked to the War of the Roses with Lancaster (of the red rose) in the middle ages.
This is in very good condition with no chips of work coating. The back is a brass fitting with a strong rollover clasp.
The brooch weighs 13 grams. It measures 4 cm in diameter. Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.
