vintage brooch or pin

  • Copper-tone brooch by UK jewellery maker 'Exquisite'.  Made in the 1960s as part of the 'Trees of the month' series. The copper tone covers the front and back and the leaves are very detailed with a bunch of four cherries. The 'Exquisite' signature is stamped on the back.  This is quite a large brooch which fastens with a secure roll over safety clasp. The cherries have some wear to the plating but the brooch is so shiny that it is hard to notice. I would describe it as in good condition. Presented in a satin drawstring bag Measurements 70mm x 50 mm x 10mm
  • Gorgeous pink filigree brooch which recreates 1930s style. Features gold metal filigree with millegrain outlines on the front and back of the brooch. Has old style cut glass stones in pink with pink enamel leaves. All of these features appear to make the piece feel quite old. However, it also features some small white aurora borealis stones which tell means that this was produced in the late 50s or 60s (aurora lustre coating was invented in 1957. Looks like European cut glass which sparkles like diamonds.  I love this piece. Probably made in the late 1950s or 1960s Presented in a satin drawstring bag Measurements 55mm x 30 mm x 15mm
