Classic and elegant Crown Trifari pearl and rhinestone brooch, designed by Alfred Philippe in the late 50s or 60s. It features brushed and shiny goldtone metal leaf fronds, 13 faux pearls and 7 tiny rhinestones. Alfred Phillipe had developed a method for mounting stones without any visible mount and this really adds to the simplicity and elegance of this piece. It is signed Trifari on the back with a copyright sumbol. This is so neat and has a lovely organic shape.
Measures 6cm x 4cm diameter. It would look great on a formal jacket but equally good with less formal wear. I would describe this piece as in good condition – it has a few minor scratches which are not very noticable.
Presented in a satin drawstring bag
Crown Trifari jewelry is known for it’s excellent quality and is highly collectable.
