Pastel rhinestone flower brooch, probably dating form the 40s or 50s. It is in a silver metal open form flower with round rhinestones in a variety of pastel colours – pink, blue, green, yellow. Around the flower are tiny daisies each with a central rhinestone also in pastel colours.
The brooch has a c-clasp and the pin extends slightly beyond the brooch – which is why I think it may have been produced earlier. There is no signature but it feels quite sturdy and weighty and is in a lovely condition. The rhinestones are made to appear claw set but they are glued in. The foil backings are in good condition.
Measures 4.5cm x 5cm diameter. Fastens with a sturdy c clasp. It would look great on a formal jacket but equally good with less formal wear. I think these pastels look fab with denim. I would describe this piece as in very good condition.
