Playful earrings from 1988. These JJ Jonette cherub earrings are in excellent condition and the ear wires show no wear at all. These pewter earrings each feature each feature a cherub with wings holding a faux pearl ball. They are fun and make a statement. They would be good Christmas earrings as they could represent angels. They are signed 1988 with a copyright sumbol and the initials JJ.
These earrings have a silver tone earwire.
Each earring weighs 6 grams and measures 6 cm from the top of the earwire. Presented in a satin drawstring bag.
JJ Jonette was a Providence, Rhode Island company in business from 1935 through 2006. Previously called Lisker & Lisker – after a significant slow-down in production during the years of World War II, the company revamped and became Jonette Jewelry. Known for novelty and Christmas jewellery.
