A beautiful Jewelcraft blue modernist enamel necklace. This is an unusual necklace signed by Jewelcraft. It features 17 small cold painted enamel pieces in powder blue and gold tone metal. It is a modernist design that could be representing wheat sheaves. The necklace has a chain and a hook clasp which means it can be worn as a choker or longer depending on your neck size. It is signed on the reverse and has the ridged Jewelcraft tag.
It probably dates from the 50s or 60s. I would describe the condition as very good with only minor chipping of enamel paint on a few of the front segments. The back really is in fantastic condition for a necklace of this age with hardly any wear to the segment connectors (rare in a Jewelcraft piece). It really does look stunning on and would make a lovely summer necklace with blue jeans. Anyone with blue eyes would really benefit from being highlighted by this necklace.
