Let’s celebrate the talent of European and British vintage costume jewellery. Authentic vintage jewellery which holds its sparkle and brightens up our lives.

  • This is an unusual and gorgeous vintage necklace. This signed SPHINX marcasite leaf necklace features a series of linked element leading down to a bib of three leaves. The shape is delicate and hangs beautifully on the neck in a choker length. This is in excellent condition condition and probably dates from the 50s . It is very well made and shows very little wear. It is a lovely choker bib necklace that is very very special. Marcasite is difficult to photograph well but this piece has a beautiful sparkle and would make a lovely wedding necklace. Sphinx is a British company 1948 – late 1990s and is quite collectable. The necklace weighs 20 grams. It  measures  43cm long and sits nicely around the neck.  Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.
  • This is an outstanding vintage necklace. This art deco filigree necklace features gorgeous claw set green peking glass stone set on silver tone filigree bases and adorned with lovely green molded glass leaves and tiny marcasite stones. This could be an original 1920s or 19390 Czech Gurtler piece or might be made in Germany after the war by Czech jewellery makers who were from the Bohemia area. The necklace has three separate elements linked by chain and hangs beautifully around the neck. This is in very good condition condition. Many of these lost their silver plating but the metalwork are in excellent condition. I think the chain and spring rng clasp have been replaced at some point as there is no wear but it fits the piece well. It is a lovely choker bib necklace that is very very special. The necklace weighs 32 grams. It  measures  42cm long and sits nicely around the neck.  Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.
  • Beautiful vintage necklace. This green Peking glass necklace features beautiful glass beads which resemble the gemstone malachite. Peking glass was made in Czechoslovakia to resemble Chinese Peking glass. It remains very highly aught after. The handmade necklace features 35 10mm beads separated by knotted string. It is a gorgeous dark green necklace with a screw barrel fastener. The necklace measures 42 cm and sits around the neckline. It weighs 59g. Presented in a satin drawstring bag.
  • Beautiful vintage necklace. This art deco delicate aqua glass ad rhinestone choker is very dainty. Dating from the 1920s or 30s the necklace features a gold tone (brass) metal chain with a feature bib of claw set rectangular pale blue glass stones and sparkly clear rhinestones. The drop feature is a larger blue stone ith 3 small rhinestones at the bottom and  creates a beautiful focal point. The spring ring fastener is very secure and the whole necklace is in excellent vintage condition. It is a very delicate necklace and really captures the style of the time.   • Beautiful vintage necklace. This art deco delicate black glass choker is very dainty. Dating from the 1920s or 30s the necklace features a gold tone (brass) metal chain with a feature bib of claw set smooth black glass stones and sparkly rhinestones. The drop feature is in a flower shape and creates a beautiful focal point. The spring ring fastener is very secure and the whole necklace is in very good vintage condition. Although not stamped I think this is probably Czech. It is a very delicate necklace and really captures the style of the time. It would be a fantastic elegant gift for someone special.   • Outstanding vintage brooch probably dating from the 1950s.  This pressed glass floral green aurora borealis brooch features a floral bouquet with four flowers and two pressed glass leaves. The central flower features gorgeous aqua green  aurora borealis (AB) rhinestones surrounded by seven smaller AB stones. The pale green frosted glass leaves are delicate and beautiful.  All the rhinestones are claw set in a gold tone setting. This is a lovely brooch which has retained it's original beauty and is in excellent vintage condition. This leaves have an amazing glow which is a feature of the way the frosted glass is made. The design is open work and it has a sturdy rollover clasp which is also in very good condition. The brooch weighs just 10 grams. It  measures 7.6 x 3.5 cm.   Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.
  • Lovely vintage necklace and earrings set. This art deco pink rhinestone choker and earrings set is sparkly and gorgeous. Dating from the 1920s or 30s the necklace features  segments of claw set baby pink rhinestones leading to a bib with some drop elements.  There is also a pair of matching clip-on earrings. This is simply a classic design and looks beautiful on. It is in very good condition with a spring ring clasp. It is a lovely necklace and really captures the style of the time. Perfect to wear in the evening with a party frock. The necklace weighs 18 grams. It  measures 43 cm.  Each earring weighs 2 grams and measures 1.2 x 1 cm.   • Lovely vintage brooch. This yellow enamel lily spray brooch is a fairly large statement brooch and probably dates from the 50s or 60s.  The brooch features gold tone metal leaves and yellow lily flowers. Lovely condition The clasp is very well made and features a secure rollover clasp. The brooch weighs 19 grams. It  measures 7.5 x 2.25 cm.   Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.
  • Beautiful Art deco vintage necklace from the 1930s. This Czech Neiger filigree maroon glass necklace is not signed but is one of the classic 'heavy filigree' Neiger brothers designs. This necklace has a silver tone metal chain with a strong spring ring clasp and the bib begins with two small dark filigree metal beads which are linked with a delicate metal link to two marron glass beads linked to a filigree connector. These connect alternating filigree capped maroon glass beads with two metal filigree round beads. The overall effect is very light and dainty as the filigree work is very fine. The necklace is in very excellent vintage condition with some slight tarnish to a couple of the filigree connectors. The metal is in great condition for its age and still has a lovely silver shine. On very close examination with a jewellers loupe the glass beads have a few nibblets around the filigree caps but this does not show at all. It hangs around the neckline really nicely. See the photos of our model Eve to see what we mean. This colour could be described as deep red or burgundy. It was probably meant to be faux carnelian. The necklace is light and weighs just 10 grams. It  measures 43 cm.  Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.   The most sought after jewellery produced in Gablonz was produced by the Neiger Brothers whose fine workmanship led the way for many of the Gurtler metalsmiths in Bohemia/ Czechoslovakia. Max & Norbert Neiger were brothers who began making jewellery in 1900 and expanded to become world famous. They did not sign the jewellery and were copied a lot so many vintage sellers wrongly attribute designs to the Neigers. There are recognisable features of their work - not least the level of craftsmanship and quality of genuine Neiger pieces.
  • Lovely nautical vintage brooch. This celluloid galleon brooch dates from the 1930s when celluloid jewellery was all the rage.  The brooch features a Spanish galleon ship with masts and multiple sails. There are not many of these around and they are often cracked or a bit rusty. This one is in lovely condition, There are no cracks or rust and the original greeny blue paint on the flags is still showing. It is very light. These brooches were meant to simulate bone or ivory. The clasp is very well made and features a c clasp closure. The brooch weighs only 3  grams. It  measures 4 x 4.2 cm.   Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag. Celluloid was one of the first plastics ever made and originally included camphor. After 1927 camphor was no longer used and was replaced by vinegar which was less flammable.

The overall effect is very light and dainty and the necklace is in excellent vintage condition.   • WOW - this is a gorgeous vintage parure. This is an unsigned EXQUISITE pale green choker, brooch and earring set. All of these items are in very good vintage condition. The set  is made up of tiny enamel painted leaves in two shades of green with sparkly green aurora borealis (AB) rhinestones set in rhodium plated metal. This set is sparkly and gorgeous. Although not signed the choker necklace has the tell tale EXQUISITE bow charm. The earrings have a clip on mechanism . The choker necklace features a silver tone chain with a hook clasp and the recognizable EXQUISITE bow tag, The necklace is adjustable. and has 8 segments linked together. Often on these choker necklaces these links are worn but this necklace shows no wear to the links at all! The oval shaped brooch has a strong spring ring clasp. They were probably made in the 50s or 60s. It is rare to get EXQUISITE sets with no missing stones and with the enamel in such nice condition. The back of the brooch shows some metal wear but the front is looking good. This is so sparkly due to the aurora borealis stones. Presented in a satin drawstring bag. Necklace measures 44 cm wide x 2 cm and weighs 30 grams (necklace is adjustable due to the hook fastener). Brooch measures 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm and weights  10 grams Earrings Length 2.75 cm x 2,5 cm width and each weigh 4 grams Exquisite was a UK jewellery producer based in Birmingham. They started signing their pieces in the 50s so there are unsigned pieces from before that period. They closed in the 70s.
  • Gorgeous vintage signed TRIFARI jewellery in excellent condition. These TRIFARI vintage amethyst glass clip on earrings are lovely. These 1980s clip-on earrings are both signed on the back or the clip and the earrings themselves. They feature a 10mm amethyst glass stone with a smaller 6mm clear rhinestone above it. the setting is gold plated  with clips.  They look unused. Each earring weighs 5 grams and measures 1.8 cm long x 1.1 cm wide.  Presented in an organza drawstring bag. Crown Trifari jewelry is known for it’s excellent quality and is highly collectable.
  • Outstanding vintage earrings in excellent condition. These rare NORMAN HARTNELL vintage earrings are absolutely gorgeous. These 1950s clip-on earrings are both signed on the back. The earrings feature 3 heart shaped diamante stones and three smaller round stones to make a flower shape.  Set in a silvertone metal with secure clips. They look unused. They would make a fantastic special present for a wedding or anniversary. Each earring weighs 4 grams and measures 1.9 cm long x 1.9 cm wide.  Presented in a satin drawstring bag. Sir Norman Hartnell was Dressmaker to Queen Elizabeth and a fashion designer who also produced high quality costume jewellery.
  • Stunning vintage earrings. These chunky green emerald glass earrings really make a statement and  add a bit of sparkle. These clip-on earrings feature a large emerald green triangular cut claw set crystal, surrounded by small green aurora borealis rhinestones.  The earrings are in very good vintage condition.  Set in a goldtone metal with secure clips. These are fairly large earrings. Each earring weighs 9 grams and measures 3.2 cm long x 2.3 cm wide.  Presented in an organza drawstring bag.
  • Gorgeous vintage earrings. These sweet green and red enamel earrings are of a folk art style but have a few small rhinestones to add a bit of sparkle. The earrings feature an emerald green enamel paint base with a red painted enamel flower at the centre, Around the flower are 5 gold metal leaves with a small glass rhinestone in the middle. The earrings are in very good vintage condition.  Set in a goldtone metal with a stud and push on back. These are fairly large but very light. Each earring weighs only 2 grams and measures 1.7 cm in diameter.  Presented in an organza drawstring bag.
  • Outstanding vintage earrings. These sparkly signed ATTWOOD & SAWYER flower earrings are in excellent vintage condition. These look hardly worn. They feature a half flower shape made up of a single faux sapphire oval cut stone, surrounded by clear rhinestones marquise shaped petals. Set in a goldtone metal with a stud and butterfly back. They are signed A&S on the back. These are quite large and bold stud earrings. Add a bit of vintage sparkle. Each earring weighs 6 grams and measures 1.7 long and is 2.4 cm wide at the bottom.  Presented in a satin drawstring bag. Attwood and Sawyer was founded in Wales in 1956 and produced jewellery for Wallis Simpson and later for the Dynasty and Dallas TV shows. Sold in 2001 to Buckley Jewellery. Very collectable.
  • Beautiful Art deco vintage necklace from the 1930s. This Czech pastel vaseline glass flower necklace features round opaque glass beads in pink, blue and yellow pastel colours. The yellow beads are made of vaseline (uranium) glass which shows under ultraviolet light. It also features two clusters of flower beads which are very pretty and really gives this necklace a light and airy feel. The beads are linked together with brass chain link elements. There is a secure spring ring clasp. The overall effect is very light and delicate with the pastel shaded beads and link elements. The necklace is in very good vintage condition with some slight tarnish to some of the brass. Although not signed I'm pretty sure this is a Czech necklace from the Gablonz glass and metal craftspeople. It is such lovely work. A beautiful summery necklace. Uranium glass was made in the Gablonz region from the end of the 19th Century by adding a percentage of uranium within the coloured glass. The glass glows under a UV (ultraviolet light).
