Pale blue kiku stud earrings set in stainless steel (hypoallergenic) measuring 12mm diameter with butterfly backs.
Kiku means chrysanthemum in Japanese and is symbolically a very important flower. These earrings match some of the kiku pendants and other jewellery.
Unique, handmade item using genuine Japanese washi paper which is traditionally made by hand from fibers from the inner bark of the gampi tree, the mitsumata shrub (Edgeworthia chrysantha), or the paper mulberry (kōzo) bush. The paper is covered with a glass cabochon which magnifies and protects the paper.
