Blue forest rectangular pendant

Description

‘Blue forest’ rectangular pendant set in a silver colour bezel and an 18mm silver metal chain.

Measures 60mm x 10mm

Nicely symmetrical pattern of pale blue leaves and gold tipped flowers on a darker blue background. Evoking a night-time magical forest.

Unique, handmade item using genuine Japanese washi paper which is traditionally made by hand from fibers from the inner bark of the gampi tree, the mitsumata shrub (Edgeworthia chrysantha), or the paper mulberry (kōzo) bush. The paper is covered with a glass cabochon which magnifies and protects the paper.
