Kiku means chrysanthemum in Japanese and is symbolically a very important flower. This pendant has muted colours which really make the gold and red colours stand out.
Unique, handmade item using genuine Japanese washi paper which is traditionally made by hand from fibers from the inner bark of the gampi tree, the mitsumata shrub (Edgeworthia chrysantha), or the paper mulberry (kōzo) bush. The paper is covered with a glass cabochon which magnifies and protects the paper.
