Oval blossom pendant (sakura in Japanese) in delicate pink and gold colours set in an antique bronze effect metal setting with 53 cm (21 inch) chain. Pendant length 5 cm including bail. pendant width 3 cm.
Unique, handmade item using genuine Japanese washi paper which is traditionally made by hand from fibers from the inner bark of the gampi tree, the mitsumata shrub (Edgeworthia chrysantha), or the paper mulberry (kōzo) bush. The paper is covered with a glass cabochon which magnifies and protects the paper.
