Blue flash pendant made from genuine dichroic glass which has two flashes of shimmering pale blue and lilac speckles across an oval opaque blue surround, with a silver bail and 18 inch silver plated metal chain. This pendant has a smooth finish is blue on the back as well. It is quite subtle and almost looks and feel like a gemstone.
Made from a stock of glass previously created by artist Gaynor Murray in Scotland.

Dichroic glass has layers of metal oxides in layers resulting in glass appearing to have different colours when viewed from either side. It can result in stunning effects and has been widely used for jewellery. For this reason there are more than usual photos for our glass jewellery to try to capture that effect.
