Delicate handmade earrings each featuring a dichroic fused glass cabochon, orange and black seed beads and a czech fire polished bead. The tangerine earrings are like two fiery autumn coloured flowers.
All the beads used in these beaded earrings are brand new. The earrings are made using tiny seed beads sewn into a floral design using strong professional beading thread. There is no glue used – the beads hold the cabochon in place. The dichroic fused glass looks bright orange from one angle and a paler yellowy colour from another.
The earrings feature copper plated hook earwires.
Presented in a beautiful satin drawstring bag.
Length from top of earwire 4.5 cms. Diameter of flower 2 cms. They are very light – they each weigh only 2 grams.
What is dichroic glass?
Dichroic glass has layers of metal oxides in layers resulting in glass appearing to have different colours when viewed from either side. It can result in stunning effects and has been widely used for jewellery. For this reason there are more than usual photos for our glass jewellery to try to capture that effect.
