Gemstone necklaces

We are delighted to launch a new series of handmade gemstone necklaces.

These are all unique individual necklaces that will not be recreated in the same form. They are made with a mixture of gemstone, glass, ceramic, wood and metal beads. They are all asymmetrical and can be worn in a variety of ways. They can be worn as a long opera or rope style or doubled up to become a two strand necklace depending on your body and neck size. the beaded necklaces could also be wrapped around the wrist to be worn as a multi-strand bracelet or even as a belt if you are lucky enough to have a slim waist.

The necklaces are handmade by Lou McGill and each necklace is well balanced and intriguing. They feature sets of beads to create points of interest and they are lovely to feel if you appreciate the texture of the different beads. From shiny black obsidian to golden tiger eye and delicate pink rose quartz to summery turquoise each necklace has it’s own personality. They can be worn with casual or formal wear and really would look great as a summer necklace.

Gemstones are said to have properties that can benefit the wearer – including emotional and physical wellbeing. We have included these properties in the descriptions if you are not already familiar with these.

We hope you like this new series – there are more to come as we have purchased a large lot of beads which include gemstones but also vintage beads which have never been used.
